  • BIG Surprise

HI guys this is what i met with yesterday at RSC.

I went together with my seller yesterday to RSC to verify my watch but to my surprise after the verification i only get a receipt stating "servicing $75" instead of stating that the watch model begin send in for verification is genuine! then what is the whole purpose of me sending in the watch and not getting it specify on the paper?

second thing i also met at the counter when one customer urging to the customer service saying that i send in the watch to change the needle on the watch yesterday and they never say that the glass in not orginal when she was there want she ask to change the needle, but today when she bring back the watch to check on the waterproofing they told her the glass is not orginal!!!! how come so funny! so i KPO when up to the lady to ask to see the receipt....to my surprise they don't even state the parts change? how can that be to a rolex servicing center of doing? it's totally different from i sending my TAG for servicing....whereby they will state what are the things they change and the part no too....

thus with alll this i strongly feel that nor matter we are a seller or a customer, what is the assurance we have if they don't even state anything on the receipt as they will only tell you in words that you watch" everything is orginal!"

not only tag, breitling also states what was done to the watch on their invoice.

yes i agree with that it is better that they state what was done on the receipt. however, have you tried asking for a detailed invoice before?

i just collected my wife DJ, they dont give detailed invoice. anyway, before they service the watch, they indicated what needs to be changed etc.

i think they should provide detailed invoice to be more transparent.

You got to trust them, what to do.

haha bro joke aside we guys here are lovers; passion; etc in collecting rolex giving all the kind of trust to RSC as our middle man to help verify our watch and taking good care of our watch for us but by the end of the day paying so much things to the watch the reciept that come out to you is " servicing xxx amt of money" with this receipt are you able to tell your whoever buyer i have overhual my watch before selling? who will believe in that? right! i truly urge that RSC people to be more transparent in the way that not only looking at your own ground but also taking care of us as a collector of such a lovely watch.

Perhaps being a cult brand and all have make rolex more stuck up and could not care less about after sales service.

I was impressed by Omega service centre service, and their invoicing format. Very detail, even the percentage of scratch is reflected on the invoice. You will be SURPRISED when you got the invoice from them! As for RSC, maybe can ask them to have the details stated on the invoice for your own reference.

For me I requested a parts description which include pricing. That was good enough for me.

I think it is better to have a detailed receipt for the peace of mind of both the buyer and seller. Maybe should try to ask them - if a fake rolex is brought for servicing, what invoice will they issue or will they accept in the first place?

I had my PAM authenticated at Richemont. The invoice stated that it is an authentic timepiece and they even indicated the movement number...makes you feel a lot better after

same here when i brought my GMT to JW,John the owner even recorded the movement numbers for me..help me with the picture taking.I watch closely how he open my GMT caseback from the begining till the end. He even tape the lugs before putting back the bracelet to prevent scratches. *This is one thing RSC will never do!
