14270 or 116000 ?

Given a chance to get either a pre-owned 14270 or pre-owned 116000 at almost the same price, which one will you guys go for?

I like the look of both. Though 14270 is more iconic, I'm thinking if I should go for 11600 since it's a newer model with newer movement, case design and bracelet.

Sorry there's a typo there. It's meant to be 116000 in the second line as well.
116000 is the 36mm Oyster Perpetual w/o Date.

I'll take the 14270. In terms of value wise, the Explorer holds better. Moreover, with the new Explorer 1 model coming, the older should be discontinued soon.

non-date oyster perpetuals come in a variety of designs.

if you're gonna buy a 116000 that will look similar to an explorer, get the 14270.

otherwise, either one will do really... and like Ocean, i lean towards the 14270.
