what's the difference between a explorer and gmt? both looks quite similar to me except the red 24 hr hand

The difference are:
1. GMT has moveable besel, ExpII has a fixed one
2. GMT has a green 24hr hand, ExpII has a red one
3. GMT has only black dial, ExpII has black and white for you to choose
4. GMT has been overpriced now, ExpII has a reasonable discount waiting for you if you want to buy now

explorer u can choose black or white face
gmt u can choose different colour bezel inserts (can be interchanged easily between the coke, pepsi and all black bezel inserts on the same watch)
explorer bezel is fixed, gmt is bi-directional.
the newer "m" series of both model shld have the "sought after" 3186 caliber movement inside... but only in the gmt is the price is much higher....
