Makes you wonder about the demographic that can afford to pay 10 million USD for a car. Do they breathe the same air we do, these strange people whose goal isn't to make a million by 30 but a billion.

heard somewhere that if your plane crash and you swim to a unknown island.. some locals came up to you, cant speak your language.. flash your rolex and you'll get your food and drinks.
i dunno if rolex loses its appeal internationally or locally, but i do know the brand still command good $ compare to all other watches when u step into prawn shop.

I like Rolex because their classic designs are still pretty much the same after so many decades, hence won't be out of style.
sometimes I find it funny as long ago I thought Rolex was so exp.. but now I think Rolex is one of the most value for money luxury watches if you compare with AP, Hublot, Patek, Vacheron, and even Omega etc.

Once the desirability starts to drop then so will the value, take for example why dont you wear a Fob watch anymore, In fact I have beautiful one and still keeping time perfectly, It was my grandfather Solid Gold, with Gold Chains that also has his crest stamp for sealing wax envelopes , is it worth more than a empty rolex box doubt it...
If so, Empty Rolex box is $150, I pay you $200 for it?
Can PM me the pictures?

The fatter lugs of the newer models make them appear very square. I also find the ceramic bezel more for bling and a unnecessary feature. It's more scratch resistant but it is not completely scratch proof. When it does gets scratched, prepare to pay RSC a fair bit to get a replacement.
