Losing its appeal? You must be crazy to say that. Tons of people wanted a Rolex out there just like LV bags. Only good and popular stuffs gt replica just like microsoft windows, microsoft office, LV bags, even ipods and iphone... LV is just like Rolex also made a million bag but people like them.
Rolex is a brand with 100% recognition even a child knows Rolex. Panerai and IWC not everyone knows them or heard of them you can ask around.
If people don't like to haolian just wear a seiko can liao Y bother to wear IWC, PP, Rolex, omega or Panerai? A few thousands dollar watch for self admire is no joke. I think should end this thread here sick of it.Rolex stainless steel daytona (black dial)
Rolex LV submariner
Rolex TT black submariner
Rolex GMT2 Pepsi
Rolex Non date submariner
Rolex Explorer2

ROLEX Prodcution was down in 2009
http://www.watchtime.com/2010/09/who...ter-producers/
The number of movements submitted for testing to COSC dropped dramatically in 2009, as watch companies cut production in the face of the global recession.
The smaller chronometer output reflects major production cutbacks by Rolex, Omega and Breitling. Since Rolex and Breitling only sell chronometer watches, the COSC data is a good indicator of their output for the year. The number of COSC certificates issued to Breitling last year was 108,220, a 55% drop versus 2008. Omega’s total of 187,558 was down 50% from 2008. Rolex’s total of 607,512 was down 21% from the previous year.

Don't think Rolex will lose its appeal.
The Submariner and Datejust are classics.
But the quality may have dropped over the years while price goes the other way with the sky as its limit.
Not to mention the service at RSC.It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.

I think we all have to agree on one fact: Rolexes are NOT appealing to youngsters in the 20-35 age group. As I, mid-20s newbie, was looking my first decent watch, I kept on looking at Omegas. The main reason why I dislike Rolex is becoz of the CYCLOPS..! Its just UGLY and USELESS (seriously, who needs the date to be magnified other than the seniors??!!).. Rolex never crossed my mind.. Until I saw the Explorer I..
And the rest is historyy..

Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen

Many of my friends and colleagues of the 30-35 age bracket admire Rolex. It's no longer perceived as the "butcher's gold watch". Here's how we like to wear our rollies....
