I bought a watch from Passions at Funan Centre. Their svc is good. Friendly & professional. It was during Christmas last year and they even offer me a piece of cake. The cake was given by a customer... apparently he's happy with them too...CT

I guess retailers think that if one has a decent watch strapped to their wrist, they are more likely to buy since they have already splurged money previously.Currently wearing:

JW? I have always found their service standards reasonable. Nothing to shout about but, so far, nothing to complain about too. Average I guess.
On that post, it may be because of previous experiences. IIRC, JW use to service alot of vintage watches e.g. omegas but they have since stopped because alot of these owners send in their vintages expecting them to be restored to 100% (as in with original OEM parts, or to remove 30yrs of ageing) or even to a better standard than modern versions e.g. waterproofing, which to them was not possible (if Omega stopped making the particular part 10 years ago, where are they to find an exact new orginal ?). Hence, rather than be accused of substandard job, they refuse to take them in. And they expect buyers of vintage watches to know what they are getting.
This dispute probably arose because some potential seller probably made some allegations of misrepresentation as to the rollie.

I once went to an AD, walked in, a sales guy did an overall "scan" of my attire (I was in an old T's, bermudas and really worn out CROCS slippers AND unshaved!) and then the eyes zoomed in to the wrist. He served me damned nice cos I was wearing a GMT. Just my 2 cents opinions...Time is too precious to be measured by a cheap watch...

If a SE 'suddenly" become very attentive only AFTER he sees wats on my wrist, i'll not even look at him and walk out of the shop!
If they think poor ppl doesn't deserve good service then they certainly dun deserve my $$!
In my case, i'm not rich but i'm not poor either and i've learnt not to judge a book by its cover!
Everybody deserve to be treated equally![B][I]There's no jewels or gems to compliment a man..
