                    you just have to drop the watch with the crystal facing down to break the crystal... suggest u pull out the crown to stop the movement in case small piece of glass get trapped in the movement which will cost more to repair...

                    This also happened to 1 of my sport watches many years back...

                        when you go to RSC for repair, they will inisist that the watch be serviced and the reason given will the the likelihood of small pieces of glass trapped in the movement.

                              had wanted to post a sales thread with the picture selling an almost perfect condition daytona with no dings no scratches, only a few hairline cracks
