  • Bad day, bruise my watch.

Sigh...accidentally wack my watch (DSSD) against the window frame today, now spotting scratches on the bezel. Although not really visible but heart damn pain. Out of curiosity, I called up RSC checking the price for changing of Bezel, was quoted sgd 1511.00 faint......

you mean the whole bezel or the insert?

1511 seems like the whole bezel cost.

light scratches on the bezel should be gone when you service it.

That's the price for the whole bezel. I will leave it until servicing is needed. I get the quote out of curiosity and was suprise by the amount.

I am just wondering...the bezel is ceramic and not should not scratch easily.

It's scratch resistant, not scratch proof.

Beware DSSD, it is extra big and thick, therefore more likely to get banged.

                        Just wondering:

Is there a bezel insert in the case of the
                        DSSD?

Can we polish away a scratch in a ceramic piece?

Understand the heart pain, S$1k+ to replace a bezel i think is too much...don't do anything 1st just continue to wear it....

No the ceramic is too glossy, I have tried and ended up with a slight frosted texture.
