Of course there's nothing wrong to flaunt if one is rich. But it is the proper upbringing; the correct manner of carrying oneself. I really can't fathom a boy/girl of such an age doing that. What does it say of his/her parents (besides endorsing their wealth, of course)?
Just sharing my thoughts here. Not referring to anyone here please.

Come to my uni and usually the nice car is driven by asians, nice watch also worn by asians, nice bags/purse/wallets usually asian are holding. I notice, but I never go and praise them or admire.
I even saw one indonesian businessman with the car plate "very rich" I dont know what he is trying to do, but if i was a underground member, I would take that as an invitation to kidnap him and ask for a huge ransom
Also how you know they are "wealthy", they could be heavily in debt, and you dont know, therefore better not jump to conclusions.
eg. I drive my uncle's car (merc S350 or volvo s80), people also think WTF young punk driving nice car, with rolex somemore. what they dont know is that I am actually a foreigner, driving on local roads, and lets say if anyone was gullible enough to think that I was rich, well they would be in for a big surprise

moral of the whole thing here is, be patience, wear a rolex you can rightfully claim it is yours, not somebody elses.

In this way he will then be able to earn respect of the people around him.
Of course my son disagree with his teacher but.......
About his teacher....I think depends on which sch he is in first, mind telling me which school he is from? can PM me if u want. I agree with what the teacher did,PARTIALLY,to inform you the dangers of doing this and I think that should be the end of it. The other line I would feel offended.

On the serious side, my current Rolex is passed down by my grandpa. But seriously hor,I really dun care if anyone my age is wearing a Rolex or driving a beemer is using his money or his parents money. It does NOT MATTER AT ALL! He doesn't appreciate the value of money is also NOT MY PROBLEM..why care so much? Just enjoy the eye candy ! people thinking so much
NO OFFENCE,my 0.02
