    haha..my regular sales person at HG also asked me why i am getting another rolex since i already got a similar one...he told me that i can look at other choices ranging around 3-4k...

    hmm...maybe he feels that which dumbass will buy watches of the same type...which is kinda waste of money...or he get a bigger cut from other watch brands, which are deem less popular...

        The profit margin for rolex is relatively low compared to other watches. So it is not surprise he is asking you to get other watch brands...

          AGree...for HG...Sinn,Glycine,Phillp Stein and other house brands command a higher profit margin...that's why u see they always recommend these brands if u dunno wad to choose

            i think so too. Rolex sell on its own. Hence i do not think there is any need for HG to offer higher commission incentives for brand like Rolex or Patek.

            discount generally are much better for their house brands too...30 - 40%!!!

              Yes, you're right! I heard, heard only huh, you need to give "red pocket" or "under-table" to the salesman if you want to buy some high demand rolex and patek model.

              On the other hand, if the salesman can sell a lot some other not-so-popular brand watches, they will receive lots of gifts, shopping vouchers, free lunch/dinner from this watch brand agents....
