I dont know. I guess like what is said, it is rather subjective and a matter of choice for the person wearing it.
agree, MOP looks nice on any ladies wrist, meteorite also looks cool. I want to source a meteorite dial and make a set consisting of ladies and gents DJ.

But its a Rolex. I think if money is not as issue. Most of us here would have gotten the same series with different colour face!!

I gotta admit its kinda 'wasteful'. But then again, i can alternate my watch and match the face according to the colour of my outfit to give it a more coordinated look ya.
Sigh...I was thinking of getting a TT sub with diamond dial instead but then,TT not really suitable for me. And only DJ offers diamond dial in SS...sigh...headache headache

I think for guys....MOP will only suit the solid YG watches. Other than that...not really nice.

But now i'm eyeing for the TT daytona , i mean i still prefer TT or WG watch as i think a Rolex with a little bit of gold is nicer IMO .
I do admit the SS model find more time on my wrist . Dun really had alot of chance to wear those TT models especially my YG DD .
Anyway just to share my personal experience....
Yeah agreee with you la..I m slightly above 10 , though I really love gold,I considered that I wont really wear a YG DJ or TT watch out....so sadly I doubt I am getting one soon. SS watches for now

Joke aside, the lady boss in my AD actually turn me away, each time when I say I want the TT DJ or the TT MOP DJ with stones, she told me I don't have the age to carry it yet & tell me to come back 10 years later for it, either she did it out of good intent or she want to slowly slice me bit by bit by making me buy the sport series

She is not the only one selling Rolex watches... isn't she worried that you will get the TT DJ or the TT MOP DJ with stones from other ADs? Or she is your god-mum?

God Ma? how I wish, I am but just a regular carrot. being a good sales woman, she will know what is best for the customer & of course herself too
according to her jubilee braclet is definately out for me, but she did sell me only one piece of DJ, the blue concentric dial with oyster braclet, very nice piece but I find it a bit too small for my fat wrist, so it ended up with my wife instead.

Personally la...if I am a first-timer there and this is what she tells me. I will walk out straight away and never turn back into that stall again.

What dun have the age to carry...what crap!

From my sense of it, I do not think she said that out of any ill intent. She was likely meaning well, using the wrong words, I guess.

NO ill intend I understand...but for a gold lover like me....it's offending. Make sure she doesn't meet me...hehehe

Gents, believe me she really has good intents, we know each other well enough for her to make such commend & recommendations and I never at any one time feel offended, infact I welcome it. I hope you know what I mean

The same thing happened when I go to my regular optical shop to choose a frame for my lense, the boss will tell me which is more suitable for my face type & which is not, most of the time I will leave it to her, mainly because I trust her & she knows these things better than I do.
Maybe I am the easily convince type

actually, i respect her for her honesty...she's giving her cents worth and ultimately we're still the decision makers...

sometimes, a good salesperson is one who's credible and honest...after a while, the trust will developed and you'll always go to him/her for her opinions.
