I doubt u can get better deals at airport despite the not charging of GST.I'd asked about IWC before. Town shops give better discounts.

Is it really worth getting from T3? The only difference is the less GST part. Of course, 7% could mean quite a fair amount. If the watch is $10k, GST is $700, but you have to leave the watch with the store till arriving back home. Otherwise, you have to bring the watch out and bring it back later, so much hassel. In fact, if one is leaving, might as well source out from overseas AD. Who knows after the exchange rate and discounts, the price is even better overseas. Just my 2 cents.

can arranged to pay first then leave the item @ the store and collect it when u come back.The same when u buy liquor,cosmestic and fragrance.Hopes this help.

I think for the cheaper rolex @ T3 refer to those model that u can't get any discount from local AD like THG,Sincere or Cortina....As the discount they are talking about here I think we should called it tax rebate instead which is 7% so as not to so call mislead ppls.


And if there are any discount for those less popular model the calculation if I'm not wrong should be for example if the T3 shops sell u a Exp II with 15% discount it works out to be Exp II = list price minus 15% discount then the discounted price minus off the 7% tax rebate then is the price u're paying for.

I might be wrong but this answer is what I get from the cartier shop staff when I'm enquiring bout the Santos 100. Hope this helps. Cheers.

if I'm not wrong,someone in this forum post it saying he/she got a GMTIIC 116710 at list...but for me i got it at a slight discount paying cash at a local AD in chinatown.

haha ya right and daytona also lor.but they will give u slight discount which works out to be selling price few thousands more than the list price and after discount,it's still few thousands more than the list price.
