Rolex GMT2C TT gets my vote. Just go try it on. The ceramic bezel will blow you over, together with the improved bracelet, clasp and the hidden extension link. True, it costs more than a PAM88, but you're definitely paying for good stuff."Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana."

Actually I would get the Pam88 nice looking bugger! The GMTIIC uses maxi dial, C.bezel is top notch and polish links with Green Hands makes it stands out however not sure if you own an LV but if you're like me, I own an LV and would personally prefer to get PAM 88 instead just for the reason that it is different to the current LV I own.
This is how I compared LV also maxi dial and the hour markers are Dotted. Getting GMTIIC a great watch of cos but also dotted hour markers which makes both of them the same in certain way.
Having a PAM88 this would be totally different. Polished case, different hour markers and hands plus interchangeable straps. Would be fun to mix and match with your daily wear.
Anyway both are great watches to own. Good luck to your choice as there is no right or wrong to owning anyone of them.
Cheers! The above is just my personal opinion.Every Rolex tells a story

I prefer the GMT2C... have both the gmt2c and the pam 88 and i would say The GMT 2c stands out. Many bros here are right about the complicated dial on the 88. Dunno why but everytime when i wore the 88, my wrist bone always hit against the case...

it depends on how are you going to use the GMT hand.
Setting the GMT time on the 88 is a pain unlike the GMTII. there's no independent hour hands setting on the 88.
if you travel quite freqently through different time zones and require to track multiple time quickly, the GMTII is the best. you can actually use the main hour hands as local time and GMT hand as home time.
unlike the 88, u can only set the GMT hands forward. to set the time is tedious. it is best for ppl who needs to track another time zone in their home country. if you're for example a forex trader, football bookie...etc then it;s good.
hope my explanation is clear...in my not so powderful england :P
