sgd9k is indeed a good price....

if the threadstarter is sincere maybe can give us the contact, provided yr hk fren is able to keep one piece for you to be fair. definitely you must have first dibs at this price....

i just hope it doesnt turn out to be a "sgd9k only for me...... sgd9.5k for the rest......"

              Hi all,

Sorry, went around the ADs after work, indeed price is worth it to get at 9k! I was a bit worried when i heard that it was 9k that it may have gone down. Very surprised though.

Got PMs about this. So if i were to get 2-3, i may be able to further discount it but i think i will just get one for myself and my buddy unless anyone would really want to join in.

Its a pity about the TT price though as i still prefer the TT one. Its in HK though although he did say its Rolex international warranty. Another thing he said which i hope anyone here can verify, is it true that unlike in SG, in HK, they don't force you in the AD when buying watches to put your name on the card?

That would be better for resale i would think. Would prices for the SS go down though? Although i think at this price, won't feel any pain.

Ok, just got PM, if anyone else would be keen, let me know, price is firm and won't change unless USD makes some drastic upwards move. How about authentication though? At RSC? My office nearby so its not a problem.

I think most shops in HK are selling around this price though?
Maybe just a few hundred dollars difference? Maybe some bros can just fly there and get it themselves if in hurry as i will probably get only start of next month(pay day)

Hmm, you may be right, one two watches i think should be fine though and he will come through the airport as he is coming to SG so just ask him to "ta pao" If send by air, insurance needs to take into account but if just one or two should be fine, the watches being rolex, should be quite durable? So after taking into account the gst which is 7%, its 9630. Maybe not worth it then?

Sorry again, I am just a green horn here pardon my ignorance, lots to learn from you Lau Jiao here.
again when you guys say that there won't be any Rolex selling for under 10K, it is speculation, but I chose to agree because in 5 years time maybe. right now Rolex would want to retain models below 10K to cater for a different group of consumer.
Again It is just my thought.
