Yalor. Since DJ 2 also upsize to 41mm. Maybe sports model will upsize to 42 or 44mm?

That one I don't think so... Rolex is like Patek, very stubborn one... moreover, I don't think Rolex sports will look good in 44mm also....

I feel that 36mm is in no-man's land. A little too small for a man's watch of today (at least 38mm is fine) and a tad too big for a lady's watch (at most 34mm). Just my 2 cents...

Previously, when watches were 30+mm, everyone feels it is normal and the bigger ones were not so popular. When one of these days, ppl grow sick if the big watches, the smaller watches will get popular again.

So we should stick to "middle" size watches like Rolex sports 40mm evergreen design evergreen size...

Its really personal. The classic datejust size still got its charm.

DJ 2 looks little too different to me.

I agree rolex sports 40mm got the balance. Cannot imagine a 47mm explorer, 53mm sub.

44mm generally is the max, unless you really have big wrist to carry it.

                    my 2 cents

Unless you have a thin wrist, it'll look too small on a guy. My 2 cents.

did the watch size grows with the general people's size? maybe. now men are comparingly bigger and fatter and taller than the previous generations. I am about 15cm taller than my dad. So maybe this accounts for the demand of bigger watches. I don't see my dad or his generations, uncles and such, wearing a 44mm Pam or Big Pilot. They are still wearing the standard 36mm Rolex DJ and for the more adventurous the 40mm subs.

will 36mm be phased out? I hope not, because sometimes, you just need a quiet and silent watch to wear, because silence speaks LOUD.
