        Hello All!

I'm back after more than 5 months.

back in June I told Darkangel I came across a good daytona fake...this is it! The best Daytona fake in market so far.

However, No need to panic,I have done some studies and compared it with my real daytona and I set out my findings below (similar to how I did for the Day date white gold)

        Real Vs Fake Daytona:

        1) If you don't get a chance to even touch the watch and you are not sure how a real daytona look like, the most obvious sign of this fake is the rolex logo on the band.It is higher up because it is a stick on! The real one is one piece with the logo raised up, not stick on.

2)The Dial. The quality cannot match up to the real deal.If you own a real daytona you can tell right away. For the white face even more obvious, for those who own a white face, you will see the face on the real is not really white...it is creamy white on the real piece,on the fake it is lighter white.

3)The words "Oyster Perpetual Superlative...Cosmograph" is not so crisp/ sharp as the real.

4)The 3 sub dials-the lines on the 3 sub dials are raised higher in the fake.

        5)The wordings on the sub dials e.g "30" "10" "20" are thicker.

6)Markers- they are bigger and thicker on the fake.

7)the numbers on the bezel as shown on the link is deeper and thicker.

8)back of the case is a "R" engraved.

9)The edges on the links of the band are rough/sharp, not like the kind of smooth finishing on the real deal.

10)The shake test! just like any other rolex fakes, shake the watch and you can hear the strange noises , sometimes it sounds like a train

11)Swiss movement-The one I tested is suppose to replicate even the swiss movement but remember this, No faker can copy the Rolex movement!
I tested the stop watch the second hand does not sweep as smooth as the real one.The markers dont stop as accurate as the real deal.

12)Stainless Steel-high end fakers tend to fake SS models because the gold colour on the gold plated links will fade.

13)The rolex markings, I examine 4 of the highest end fakes but somehow they can't get the markings correct on the bracelet, the stamping or laser engraving methods they use somehow dont turn up correct, the wordings either too faded in certain parts or too deeply engraved in others

I can go on and on but I will stop here for now and leave with the 13 pointers above, should be more than enough for members here to digest this week

@bro edson, we'll need face on shots to look at the position of the start stop buttons.

fake watches the movements most probably not within COSC specs. Just time the watch a few days should know if it is geniue right? Even low end seiko also not within cosc specs. unless the fake movements so accurate these days?
