Since i keep my green sticker intact i dont clean them with brush and detergent. Except with a cloth to wipe the watch after a day of wearing.

i reckon that since i am the person using it, that little dirt is still bearable. *grin*

For me hairline scratches are not an issue

how do you guys maintain them anyway??? Any special clothes you use?? Do you wash them often??

Bigger issue is corrosion on watch. What I do is to remove the flush pieces and clean the lug areas about once a month. I rinse the watch in flowing tap water to remove any sweat on the bracelet or any other parts. Of course, crown must be tightened first ah.

Nt jus for my ROLEX but other watches as well. Tis' my routine:
              • take out watch from wrist when reached home
              • put at airy place to dry perspiration (if any)
              • aftr mre than an hr or so, use a damp, soft cloth to wipe gently n thoroughly
              • again, air it
              • before retiring to bed, use a dry, soft cloth to wipe to shine it, threaftr,
              • put it to "sleep" (store in watch box)

I've seen how sme friends jus store their watches (right after returning home) right into the watch boxes ! Te sweat n dust jus followed in !!

Need to 'disconnect' bracelet from watch?

To use the capecod on the bracelet, do you first need to 'disconnect' the bracelet from the watch?

because, it will then be easier to use capecod on the bracelet.

I wear my watch 24x7 and it get washed everyday cos I showered with it. The rest of the other watches just sits in the watch case and use the RSC issued cloth to clean it.
