Hi seiko bro, i might have confused you. Hee hee...

What I am trying to say is, the part that bearing the engraving, will be considered as non-original part?

Will you engrave on your Rolex ??!!

        Hi all,

Yet to get my first Rolex but been thinking of idea to make my very first a special one. My idea is to find one that was manufactured on my birth year and do engraving on the case back. Wondering if any of you Rolex owners ever did engraving on your Rolex ?! If yes do you regret it or love it in every bit. Also for those who did it where do you go ? Rolex service centre or any trusted watchmakers of yours and of cause the price to do it.

        Thanks
        Dave

yes i will but just havent got to doing it.

i also engrave my Dupont lighters.

of course engraving means a strong inclination to keep the item forever.

Not quite name but my initials.

Most Dupont lighters have an area on the cap/lid that is specifically designed / "reserved" for engraving.

                  Hi Dave,

Personally I had been toying with that idea too...but 'NATO'. However what I did was....I chose a watch I really really liked and purchased it on a special date. So my warranty card has my name and also a nice date to go along with it for remembrance.
Good luck on your first purchase.
