As long as you are happy and can afford, how many is no longer the question but did you own the must have "ONE"

Of course, there will be extremists.... just speak your mind on the topic will do. By the way, the reward system will definitely get more people to talk more IMO. Totally cool.

10 should be about the right number, with a good mix of sports and dress watch (perhaps 3 to 4 each?) and a couple of innocuous-looking watches for traveling in unfamiliar territories or extreme (!) sport - desk diving or related activities are not such sport. That said, even 10 is too much. [So many watches, so little time...]

                    All Start from one (01).

                    Next : Eight (08) to Ten (10)

                    Follow by : Eight (08) + Ten (10)

                    Than : Eight (08) X Ten (10)

Used to own 3 rolex, 1 sinn & 1 pam... I used to think that 1 wanted 5 rolex and that's all.(Namely TT GMT, Sub LVC, 42mm Ex II White, DSSD & Smurf so as to have all colors n materials) but that slowly changes as my watch "collections" increases. I started selling off 2 of my 3 rolex after getting a AP diver, sold off my sinn u2 n now trying to sell my pam 351. Now, I think that 3, maybe 4 watches are enough for me. 1 daily beater which I hv yet to decide/buy, 1 for shopping/meals which is a Rolex, and 1 high end (at least for me, in the range above $20k) which is AP for special occasions....

Actually as long as we love watches, we will always come up with reasons to buy a new watch.

                          It's a passion.

for me its three to four also.

1 classy watch, can be used for meetings and in the office.

1 sporty watch / which suits casual outfit and can go for a swim.

1 dress watch / bling / for party and special occasion

1 quartz for your daily beater. but your classy watch can also take this place.

Sure have reason la... But to others, it's usually not a valid reason. Haha.

I remember I bought an FM King Conquistador before, simply because I don't have a square watch..
