Getting a Sub
An update on my pre-owned Sub after 1 week.
It was running much faster than chronometer spec i.e -3/+6 sec /day?
On Thu lunchtime sent to RSC to regulate, it was done in 15-20mins (foc), just checked the accuracy after 2 days, now within +1 sec.
Overall, very happy with RSC service. For a 1st time Rolex owner, the Sub date is perfect 1st choice. Classic, good for formal wear yet rugged for outdoor, not too heavy and not too thick. Was wearing an Omega SMP PO before this, its 2 mm thicker and much heavier for my liking.
I am sold on Rolex, Cheers!

My first Rollie was also a Sub Date. Right balance of weight and presence! Served me well as the only dress watch for many years. It had gladly replaced my previous AD bought watch (THG raffles) which was an Omega Seamaster (pre-007) that apparently did not work out for me. It was rather heavy for both case and bracelet. Not a bad thing really. But the real problem was that the case kept slipping to either side of the wrist no matter how tight I adjusted the bracelet length. In the end I knew that I had to let it go rather reluctantly once I handled a Rollie.
