As for maintenance... i just send these for service yesterday. Rolex centre est. quote ( abt 3 to 4wks service time )
1. ladies size Rolex datejust oyster perpetual in a gold case with gold President bracelet ... service and replace crystal & winding stem... est $600+
2. Yacht master, just service. nothing wrong with watch. est $300+

my lau ya omega spdmaster which i was complaining slowing down 10mins/ month. replace water proof 'things' . i dunno wht and some movement 'things' also i dunno wht $470

Its not really ex compared to the other brands out there but this is my first watch and i bought it to celebrate something so i guess its worth it. Yes wanted to get both the mens and ladies Yachtmaster originally so that we have a pair but she only wants the Explorer 1 and i couldn't get it new so have to settle for pre-own. She loves it though and likes the classic look.

I see, i was there at tung building the other day out of curiosity, lots of people complaining about the price hike, etc there.

hi, i am new here. been thinking on getting a rolex but constantly undecided on new or pre-owned. i have been reading a bit of this forum and must say there's a lot of good info out there. kudos to all....

can one of u experts out there help me with the following?
1. is $5k for a pre-owned sub-m II a realistic one for a something in good condition? was quoted @ $7.2k for a new one in peninsula but got no stock. explorer II is $6.8k but i am not too keen on it. was also quoted $4.5 (5yrs old) for a pre-owned exp II (blk face)
2. which shop offer the best price for new rolex?
3. i trvel a bit for work, which country sells rolex relatively cheaper than SGP?

firstly ...there is no submariner ii............only 14060M (no-date), the 16610 and 16610 LV (green bezel)........7.2k for a new one is quite reasonable but was that a quote at 5% gst or 7% gst....??

as for pre-owned pieces, there are many considerations like age, condition, and whether the watch comes with original papers and accessories......nothing much can be said just by knowing it's 5k........

if you are not keen for exp 2....then no need to bother about it....

travelling? try HK............always competitive ...especially at cash prices
