your rolex box, let it rot or sell away?

i see 2 of my decades old rolex boxes disintegrate after leaving them in the storeroom for yrs, seems like it'll 'up lorry' sooner or later... inevitable.

would selling it off to get some cash for afew meals be more practical? what's your say?

If the box is kept in a well temp environment dont think the box will be damaged.

My dad still has his box in very good condition after more than 20 years.

rolex boxes seem to be quite easy to come by and cost 100-120 SGD at the moment.

What you suggested make sense only if you are able to get back the same box in future when you want to sell. Otherwise, maybe its good to purchase a thirsty hippo to suck up all the moisture
