    Cape cloth can remove fine hairline scratches?

    Hi all gurus,

    Can anyone advice the above mentioned,

    Does it require some minimium skills to do it &

    Lastly,any recommendation on where or who to get it & what is the cost of it?

      Yes, it can but it's suitable only for polished surfaces. Not for matt, brushed surfaces. Make sure the watch is clean first before polishing it.

      Can get it from JW Watch. I think it costs about $10.

            i've had good experiences with the cape cod cloth on my modern rolexes but generally i would leave my vintage rolex unpolished...

                  Yes, you can. depend on what sort of surface scratches.
                  Whether it is on bracelet ? bezel ? watch case ? Plexy Case ? SS or Gold, etc.

                  Method to remove ranging from using Gold/Silver polishing compound, #3000-12,000 emery paper, diamond compound, etc.

                            I believe it has already been mentioned that you can use the cloth on any metallic polished surface.
