Bro, sorry to tel you that RSC don't take in watch solely for polishing.... those aunties will tell you to come back in 4-5 years time to send in your watch for servicing and polishing at the same time...

MHO, No use polishing one.. unless after that you hand up at home and not wear it anymore...

the shiny center piece is unfortunately super easy to get scratched... that is the only thing that was preventing me from buying the GMT previously...

my wife has a YM ladies... the center shiny part was scratch until the heart no long feel any pain.. then she started enjoying the watch! hahahaha

my advice is leave it be. polished finishes attract hairlines scratches like a magnet. no point fretting over it.

                if only ...

if only the Numbers in the bezel of the SS GMT IIc are plated in Gold. It would be nice and less ah pek than the TT.

                  Polishing at RSC

RSC does provide polishing service as I've enquired on it before recently. If your piece is still under warranty, it is likely that you'd be able to get them to do a touch up for you at no charge, but beyond that I would recommend against polishing your watch unless it has been worn for 2-3 yrs.

No point polishing the watch everytime there is a scratch because you will scratch it again soon enough. Wait till your watch is about 3 - 5 years then send for servicing and polishing at one go. You will also get a year's warranty thrown in after the servicing and polishing with RSC.

agree. polish too often (or hard) and you will "thin" down the case. Of course, to thin down the case, you need to be polishing on a very regular basis
