I bought my 1st rolex airking in year 2000 ,still remember i got it for 3.6k after discount , during that time i was 20 years old , start family quite early too , at the age of 20 , i had to support my car(at that time the car is 21years old, but back than a new honda civic sir cost you over 120k) ,pay for my son nanny , and a new born son , luckily my wife work and helps to contribute .
At the age of 22 i bought another used TT datejust with diamonds for myself and a omega diamonds watch for wife , and few months later sold off my airking and bought a BNIB GMT master II for 5.8k and sold it off for 5.9k 6 years later . After the GMT , i spent most of my $ on other items like car and highend audio equipment .
Bought a brand new Volvo in year 2003 at the age of 23, and went on to change car every 2 years.
Its only untill 2008 , bought another GMT IIc , than i start my watch buying posion .
Hope i can stop buying soon , have to say this forum is indeed very posionous , everytime i log in will click straight on the market's place to hunt for good buy .
Hope i didn't OT too much .Hehe..

My first dream watch was Rolex Submariner.Started to admire that beautiful timepiece when I was in Primary 2 maybe 8 yrs. old(1982).Because during that period of time Rolex is the time sponsor for our news board cast in S'pore so daily before the news start they will show this Rolex Submariner advertisement on tv.A man diving with a sub on his wrist and so I always wanted to get one when I grow up.Well finally I got it when I was 26yrs old,Yes I bought it on 18th March 2000.
      Rolex Submariner a watch forever!

I got my 1st DJ Rolex @ the age of 15 from my Dad. Paid ard $2k. Since that, had a few other watches, Baume&Mercier, Cartier, Ebel, Tudor, etc ... After years of wearing those watches, I found out that besides Rolex & Tudor, other watch brands gave me many problems... I decided to stay away from other brands until one day I saw this beautiful watch in THG about 7 years ago... PAM 63... There were a long waiting list for 44mm Pams during those days and you can hardly find one in second-hand stores. Luckily, with my dad's help, I was able to own one without waiting for too long... btw, I paid ard S$5k for it.

I got my 2nd Rolex, a Sub SS, from my father-in-law for my wedding. Love it!

Even since, I worked hard. Stopped drinking. (good thing is I never smoke) Save and save and finally got myself a 116520 about 2 years ago... I thought my collection stops here until....

Last year was a good year. I received a Milgauss from my Dad as a present (everyone's hand very "loose" mah) and also received a 6263 from him for "save-keeping'. Bought myself a 16700 (from my friend) & a ExpII (BNIB) and a ExpI (BNIB) for my wife.

I still have my very first DJ with me and my wife is wearing it now. It still works very fine. The best thing is that I was quoted S$2k from a few second-hand shops to buy or trade-in my DJ.
