Not by polishing it off, but by laser filling it then polish

For gold watches the good news is for any dents, you can use gold to cover up the dent.

just buff to even it up and this process will not thin the watch case.


Bad news is most dealers don't bother to do that, they will just send for polishing and the case become so thin or worse uneven especially the lugs.
