          Just a thought...

Worth to pay so much for the watch, yet you need to put in the efforts to take good care of it. When it is spoiled, need to put in the time and more money to restore it back.

Or, will it be better that just spend on some cheap/normal watch, and no need so much effort to take good care of it, even if it is spoil for not taking good care of it, just get another cheap/normal watch?

i oso have this kinda tht

but when i look at my rollie, read about the history of the GMTs by rolex (ok lets face it, i prefer the history of the SD and the trials it went thru ), the movement 3185 (ok so i only get to see it online), and finally put it on!! all such thts vanish and it was well worth the time taken to save for one as compared to buying tons of cheap watches.

It becomes a relationship with my watch. and i wash it every nite and clean it with a nice cloth after its bath
I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch.........

Hi to all, I sent my 6694 to RSC today and the crown is fixed without charge.

Not many people there at 4:30pm, and the process was swift, within 10 minutes. Get some weak smiles only, no coffee

You are right. But not to the extreme, are Rolex able to handle accident? Endure better wear and tear than other watches?
