its interesting how people make the assumption that one becomes an uncle when someone buys a rolex or wears a rolex. I have been asked once by a good lady fren of my this question : - " Isnt rolex for uncles....eeek....so uncle you...." I was then 26. I was caught quite unawares. I drove an MPV when i had my first kid at 27 and everyone who saw me driving my picnic also said....eeekk.....so uncle one this fella....must be his father's car....

I have had stares and comments on my watch being fake, my car being my dad's and all sorts of things due to me being a little younger looking then usual...........then one day as i walked into a pub, something struck me.....hmmmm....good things age and are timeless......just like good wine..............so to all those who think that Rolexes are for uncles....think again......cos these are the things that make you appreciate the finer things in life....it may not be the most expensive.....but you are getting there.....(it helps when Rolexes design are timeless and now these days getting more modernised......slightly....that is....)

To all.....especially those here.....enjoy your watches and let those who see you from afar know that you've GOT IT and you are willing to FLAUNT it...ekkekekek....best of all.....know that you know somethings in life just cant be compromised.....

Reminds me of the Mercedes Car Advert....in life many things should be in reverse.....ekekekeke Cheers ALL!!

I could only afford my daytona and my white gold DD in my thirties and I intend to wear them till I become an uncle... so I can't go wrong with this watch right haha!

Somehow...after reading this...I m leaning towards the solid gold again for my next watch d-oh!

Seriously I don't really care how pp look at me. Bottomline is I kive my watches and I wear them with pride. Perhaps not a lot of pp know how to appreciate a watch, let alone a rolex. To these pp, I guess watches are only meant for time keeping purposes. But to watch lovers like us, it means much more than that... We love our watches and will continue to do so...

Lo-lek is an 'uncle' brand indeed, but I think it's a good thing. What's not really in fashion, will usually also not fall out of fashion.

Think of a good Rolex sports watch like a pair of regular/classic fit jeans... they may be 'uncle' in a way. But remember what happened to all the kids and their baggy jeans in the early nineties....

Maybe I uncle already haha.... I think the skinny jeans is just a fad. IMO skinny jeans just don't look good... On everybody... Including supermodels

As wat I said, its a question of taste.. And maybe age lah... Haha...

Depends on the viewer actually. Unless you are wearing those roman dial type (please pardon me if anyone is offended) and the links are freaking loose.

But for sports series I seriously doubt so.

Some say Uncle , China Mei Mei say , business clients and partners ... the list goes on
