In addition, it is also how the person can carry off the look. It seems that TT Datejust is perceived to be more uncle than YG Datejust and Day Date.

Really depends, very often it base on own observation who wears them in the environment they hang around in. A friend of mine, takes lots of taxi rides, hang around coffee shops for his daily meals, he thinks Rolex is a uncle brand, cos the ppl around him, taxi drivers, contractors... are the ones he spotted wearing Rolexes.
I works in a creative environment, I work with one of top fashion photographers and stylists. They wear Rolexes. The places I been to, the like of alternative clothing stores, hip cafes and eateries. Loads of youngsters, late 20s to mid 30s, wear Rolexes.
Thus I would view Rolex not a uncle brand. I find youngster wearing Rollies looks more appealing then old folkies (sorry guys, I'm half way there myself).
Singapore always have some sort of trend drifting in and out, for the watches industry, Pam probably started the whole trend of owning a Lux brand, and along the way, we probably have AP (didnt last for very long, I guess the price point is a little high) and for the pass 2 years, I guess its Rolex. Let's see how long this trend is gonna last...
