        I agree... but there might be other subtle differences other than the date that I have not noticed

          yes, there are differences.

          when i got my SD, it was fortunate that there was a ND subbie in display so since i was already in the shop, i asked for a trial on my wrist.

          the SD is thicker as opposed to ND subbie. the weight/mass of the former is heavier as well. you mentioned in the previous post that if u do NOT look closely enough, a cosc ND subbie may be mistaken for a SD due to the similarity of the dial. yes, i agree with that due to the additional wordings on the dial.

          Other than that, think there should not be other major differences between the two. if date function is not important, i guess the cosc NDS is an excellent watch to have.

            u failed to point out the helium escape valve. this is important if you take your watch to diving @ deeper depths.
