Yeah, I was surprised when I enquired at THG last weekend for the deepsea (the usual black dial)and was told of the list price and it came without any discount.

Yes correct, I went to a few shops in orchard and they all give me the same thing. All sports model get absolutely no discount now. And those popular sports model like daytona, batman, hulk are selling at a premium! Although the retail prices of these watches did not increase, but these retailers cut the discount and even add a premium! So this is sort of like a price increase i guess... Anyway Rolex did not increase their prices for almost 3 years already. That's quite a record. It's about time they will increase their prices. It's just a matter of when. Maybe this 5 years extended warranty is just to cushion the price increase. Make us feel better.

They are quite firm on price for sport model.

Bought another Rose Gold Ladies Datejust for my wife.
Discount given was aggressive i would say.

Standard 5 years warranty with the new green tag.

I was pondering over this too when I saw a set I like that was recently serviced by RSC and was given two years warranty ONLY. It is high time they increase the international warranty period too, from 2 to 5 years given the opulence cost of servicing at RSC !
