  • Rolex DJ for Mom

Got it from an old friend whom I have not met for some time. He is also a watch collector but mainly vintage pieces of various brands. Words simply cannot do justice to his watch & book collection but I'm not allowed to take any pics. His attic alone will put my whole 5room flat to shame. Think the toilet is already larger than my master bedroom.

Apparently his wife has a habit of flipping watches so all I jokingly offered to take it from her if the price is rite. Dammit, she really quoted a price that was too good to be true. DUN PM or ASK ME FOR PRICE!

This DJ baby basically comes with everything intact since purchased in 2001! Anyway thot I'd get this for Mom since she's been wearing an omega for more than 10years. Why not Wife? Cos she's already got my U1 and she prefers cartier so I told her to be patient but did not specify length of wait.

For those of us who have started our own families and neglected our folks at home, let's take this CNY to renew our ties esp with our Moms and Dads.

To all SG-ROC brothers: HUAT ARH!

Hmm...I dunno wad to get for my mum leh...most of the stuff like watch or jewellery is a NO WAY coz she says she has enough already and she has a Diamond TT DJ already. Then designer bags wise,I can tell that she doesn't realy fancy designer stuff coz so far she only bought a LV bag and wallet that's all... all collecting dust man. SIGH...

that's why my other rollies-wearing colleagues call me a "safe" owner dun worry lah, i'm going to take it off during the next sg-roc gathering and then put it on again thereafter.

er, what's wrong man?! I thot this is a free country?

by the way, does anyone know if KHH and WP are of the same management in 2001? the little watch pouch in the 3rd pic seems to depict so. anyone with views?

according to the boss, both KHH and WP is still under the same management.

Not sure about 2001, but now is cfm same management. When buying watch from either shop, the carrier bag they give, one side printed WP the other side printed KHH.

I wish I still had a mother to buy one for.

Congrads on your buy - looks nice.
