Was thinking of changing the bezel of gmt master 2 ceramic bezel to the green submariner bezel. Cause the green bezel will match the green gmt hand of the gmt master 2.

Or can the movement of gmt master 2 be fitted into the green submariner case?

It impossible. Even wif the green bezel fitted, it cant use as a timezone function.

SubLV uses 3135 where as the GMTIIc uses the 3186. Different movements. From what I recall reading somewhere, the 3186 seem to be slighthly thicker than the 3135 due to the GMT handstacks. Hence, your SubLV case most prob cant accomodate the GMTIIc movement

Note that you will end up voiding your warranty (if any) as well as any further servicing by RSC should you 'mod' your rolexs this way.

Ultimately, depends on what you need. If you need the GMT function, then putting SUBLV bezel (if can) onto GMTIIC will cause you to lose the usability of that function. If you don need the GMT function and like green, then why not just use the SubLV? It also has the maxi dial

The solution is simple, just buy both the watches!

Actually i'm asking on behalf of my friend. He was thinking of buying both watch, just so that he can have the green gmt hand from the gmt II and the green bezel from the sublv.

But it's not interchangeable right? So maybe he will just have to settle for either one or get both and wear them on different days...

I think if ROLEX is quick/good enough, this can be a good combi for their future designs.
