    I haven't seen any thread about this so I wanted to ask...
    what do you owners think as the most important rolex movement in (production) the last 20 years?

    Rolex is well known for their movements ... but so much less seems to be discussed about it.

    most important...??....not very sure but to me, the 4130 is one of the most significant ones......rolex's first in-house chronograph movement....

      Rolex movt is best known for its reliability, durability and accuracy in its class. Agreed 4130 is the best.... Les must be Daytona

        My vote goes to the 3135 found in datejust and sub. Even the sought after 3186 in GMT is basically a 3135 with GMT complication added.
