Rolex warranty

Hi like to check with you guys, I know should be not able to claim but still wanna ask, is the warranty cover for fire, as my mother-in-law's rolex was burn, the glass is fully gone and bezel drop out. Model is 178271, just bought last yr nov.

I dun think so... rolex are not tested to be fire proof. Warranty only cover mechanical defects. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually should try the home insurance, (hopefully have), and produce your receipt of the timepiece or other valuables.

Warranty should cover regular use, fire definitely not covered.

Not sure how the fire started but lucky is not one get hurt.

Problem is don't have home insurance only the hdb Fire insurance which only cover the basic like when u move in time.

Not true .
The complete set of bracelet, all parts and the crystal all got value.
Even the tags, card`s pouch and the cloth people are selling it for $$$.
That is the beautiful part of Rolex.
