  • Patchy/Uneven Lume On Rolex GMT2 ...Common N Nothing To Be Concern About?

Out of curiosity for those who own rolex, is it normal for yr rolex lume to be uneven? , all my indexes/markers has this light gray patch in the middle of the white lume , visible particularly when viewing during the day

According to wad i read its normal for rolex to have uneven lume paint n it's within rolex specs

Hi bro.. first of all what is the model gmt2 u have 16710, 116710, 16713 or 116713...??

How old is the watch...?? Example: what series...??

Post some pics... if not it's gonna be hard for us to explain to u...

If it's a tritium dial gmt2 then uneven lume is a normal thing.. if it's a superluminova lume then it's also a normal thing.. all depends on the age of the watch or dial...

      Hey thks for yr advice,

It's a 116710BLNR , the blue black bezel gmt master 2 , had it for about 1 yr 3 mths,

Taking picture doesn't reveal the patch but I could see it without a loup during daylight. The blue lume is ok when charged n viewed in darkness except for abit of cloudiness in the middle.

Apparently there are similar cases when I did a google search

This is the best i could do

Cloudy in the middle of the white lume, the same applies to most of the other markers

It's normal. I had it on gmt iic v series. It's much more serious than sub c. Went RSC, they say it's normal and won't change the dial.

i bought my sub ND few weeks ago and observed the same thing, perfectly normal i should say. I did wish it glowed as brightly as my orange monster though. =p

Yup. Lume application in not 100% flat and perfect. I think the worst lume application is with the Exp II.
