  • Memorable experience purchasing first rolex

Hi guys just want to share my story about my first rolex, a 114060:

I purchased it on a Tuesday, and when i went home, i realised theres a speck of dust inside the dial! (near the X) It is inside this photo, taken minutes after purchasing it,

However i only realised theres a dust inside when I reached home: I really felt like kicking myself, and after my friend's advice i decided to send the watch to RSC for servicing the next day.

I arrived at the shop early in the morning and when i explained to the gentleman at the counter about the defect, he seemed as affected as I am, and immediately told me the dust will be removed on the spot. I waited for around 10 mins and he provided me with a receipt saying i can collect my watch in 30 mins time. When i received a phone call to collect my watch later, the excellent service continued and the gentleman kept addressing me by my first name which was nice. =)

Anyway its my first experience purchasing such an expensive watch and I have no regrets purchasing it in Singapore.

Congrats on the excellent choice and glad that everything worked out.

One of the iconic Rolex diver. Enjoy it....I do.

Btw...did they carry out water pressure test too as the case has been opened?

unless they have changed policies, you can do a pressure test for free at RSC any time within a valid warranty.

              @ taxico

May I know if they will provide any form of results from the pressure test? Or just verbally tell you it's fine?

              thanks!

              I love mine too
