i am very new to this forum and hope my questions would not sound stupid to you all.
From the rakuten link, the brand new submariner after today conversion
http://item.rakuten.co.jp/satindollweb/sn0006/
will cost around $7200 max.
I just came back from Swiss and the price after VAT refund from Bucherer is actually around 7800 - 8000.
I wonder if it is a good choice to buy from Japan?
Cheers

U should never use the pricing of watches in Switzerland for comparison. Watches in Switzerland are expensive. I've gone to Bucherer to check a ladies YM SS, turns out its $1000 more than what i can get in Singapore, even after VAT rebate. In Europe, a better bet could possibly be in Germany with a higher VAT rebate.
