    But don't worry, my half-blind acquaintance does not have a shop in S'pore... . I would'nt buy anything from him either!

      Some choose SD because it is more discrete. SD, unlike other Rolexes, is the only Rolex with date but no cyclops len. And it is thick. The len is what 44mm case with a latched crown to Panerai. The Sub Date has the lens and it is thinner. So for a person with a skinny hand like me and wants the iconic cyclops lens, Sub Date is the choice.
