Be it a Datejust or Submariner, Rolex watches are everywhere.

You can spot Rolex watches on the hands of coffeeshop uncles, cleaner auntie, ah bengs, ah lians, Taka Jewellery Malaysian sales staffs, bank tellers, rotten gamblers etc. Can you talk about taste and exclusiveness with Rolex watches?

After my 3rd Rolex watch, I got really sick of the brand. I sold off all of those and vowed never to wear another one again.

When I see someone wearing a Rolex, I'm so happy that I meet another who appreciates the qualities of the watch. When it happens to be the same model as mine, I am even more pleased becos it suggests that we both appreciate the same qualities of that particular model.

Strangely, even with someone who sports a fake, I still feel a sense of link. I don't speak about build quality or finishing, just talk design and looks. And we both enjoy a good moment.

Having two Sport Rolexes and one Omega Planet Ocean, I must I enjoyed my Omega Planet Ocean very much, it gives me a different felling while wearing it. Youthful, playful and not as serious personality. So I like to wear it while I am on holidays.

But while I wear my Rolexes, I feel that I am a more serious type of person. The built and its attention to details makes me feel like I better pay attention to details on my daily life as well. Haha... Does that make any sense..

To answer the question, nop, I am not sick of Rolexes, in fact I quite like them, really really good in built and robustness. Keepers.

Does it bother me if I see others wearing the same rolex like mine. No if they are people with taste and appreciate their time piece. Not just follow the mass or just want to show off.

Funnily, unlike you, I actually like spotting Rolexes on other people's wrists, especially the vintage sport models which aren't as common as the modern sapphire ones. The last cool watch I saw was a Tudor Monte Carlo chronograph in the Lake District in the UK. Beautiful piece and place!
