  • Aren't you sick of Rolex watches?

Be it a Datejust or Submariner, Rolex watches are everywhere.

You can spot Rolex watches on the hands of coffeeshop uncles, cleaner auntie, ah bengs, ah lians, Taka Jewellery Malaysian sales staffs, bank tellers, rotten gamblers etc. Can you talk about taste and exclusiveness with Rolex watches?

After my 3rd Rolex watch, I got really sick of the brand. I sold off all of those and vowed never to wear another one again.

Nope. Why you care about coffeeshop uncles, cleaner auntie , ah bengs, ah lians , taka jewellery . They are rolex lovers too, nothing wrong for them to wear a rolex.

If you sick of them, you have the right to sell them off.

For most, rolex watches are more easily recognised. Perhaps that's the reason why its more popular, cos at least others know wat you r wearing.

My Rolexes have been with me around the world and through many activities and tasks

                These Rolexes i wont sell.
But i do have a handful of Rolexes which i bought out of pure fancy which i wear mostly only at home.
Those may consider selling but what for?

Maybe if you are tired of your Rolex you can customised it.
My Rolex Sub bears my chinese name on the dial.
Cant beat that right? I hv seen more than a few puzzled eye popping faces looking at my Sub.

Strange that a person's tastes can be so influenced by other people. Sick of eating rice because even beggars, villains and those in jails eat them? Not for me, my Rolexes with stay and go on to my kids!

Some of my Rolex Presidents 1803 models date back 50 years, way before I was born but I still admire them every day.

For watch brands that keep coming up with new models and changing the designs all the time, though it looks fashionable, it will not build up a following unlike Rolex.

Fashion watches may look like the "In thing" this few years like wearing a big clock around your wrists but when the next fashion trend comes, they will look ridiculous and outdated.

I prefer my Rollies that have stood the test of time...

Rolex is a luxury brand that almost everyone who knows something abt watches can testify that they make very good quality serious watches. They can last a lifetime! Its almost an aspiration to own one in each collection of watches. It's almost an affirmation that u are a successful person in life, at least this is how they market it.

I do sometimes enjoy wearing many different watches other than my rolex on several occasion. I.e Gshock, AP, PP....but I will wear my rolex like other brands when I feel that that's the moment or occasion. I do agree that there are many people owning a submariner or Daytona nowadays on the street. If that's what bothering you, find something else that does not.

With 24/36 months installment provided by our AD, it's not very difficult for a discipline guy to own a rolex using installment payment actually..and steel sports model is very easy available in AD too.

It's getting more common I think, but quality is no anything less. That's purely my opinion

Without the popularity of Rolex, the brand wouldn't be where it is now. Isn't that why most ppl like you and I got it in the first place?
