rolex in strap

anyone here change their rolex to strap / nato ?

I am considering to change one of the below to strap (rubber, leather, nato), anyone here can recommend or propose ?

1. Daytona SS black dial
2. Submariner LV
3. Explorer II white dial
4. GMT II blue black bezel

Was contemplating to wear the Dssd on the bund too...saw Peter made one for the Dssd but have yet to convince myself to do it...

Have personally done it for almost every model of Rolex i have.

Daytona
Daydate
Explorer2
Submariner
Gmt master
Gmt master 2
Datejust
Oysterdate

Daytona goes well with glazed croco strap in various colors
Submariner goes well with tropic rubber or military nato
Explorer 2 polar is very versatile, goes with everything
gMT 2 batman will be nice with black or blue leather.

Being a tall watch, I haven't tried this setup on DSSD..

I have a couple of custom straps from Joe coming soon, including a leather bund... so once that arrives maybe I will give it a try (this bund was borrowed from friend.. :P )

I wear the Zulus on my Deepsea...it's my go to strap when I go overseas...

Now looking to get some Zulus and Natos for my 16610...

I had always wanted to check. Will the strap or nato be secure enough? Has anyone heard of incidents aftermarket straps giving way whilst on wrist? Thanks.

I haven't heard of aftermarket straps/bands giving way due to its quality. Rather, in most cases, it was the manner the strap/band is fixed that caused the 'mishaps'. Just ensure that it is properly and correctly fixed on the watch and there shouldn't be any accident.
