It is a fake but the selller is trying to justify the high price tag for a fake that probably not cost more than $100 dollars on the street.. Jsut my 2 cents worth
"He could not just wear a watch. It had to be a Rolex." Ian Fleming, Casino Royale (1953)
there are a lot of AA replicas using Miyota or swiss made movement and real SS.
I wont spend a dime on such things. its like buying a BMW with Toyota engine. ofcourse Toyota makes good engines, just not meant to be fit into a Beemer.
thanks for sharing though, its really interesting to hear the Display set scam
At times, some folks are very eager to buy a set at a steal and not all sets that are selling below "market" price are fake lah. So not true that only guilty people will fall into this trap. Too eager a buyer will fall into one, if that was what you were trying to convey.
The A, AA, AAA, AAAA, A x 10, A x 100 etc... are being used to con more $$$ from the buyers! Fake is a fake, and there are probably one or two types out there.... not like what these fakers made the grade out to be!
Whether it's A or AAA, where do owners send their watches for servicing??
there is no maintenance services unless it is condemn. the owner usually send back to his seller. if the seller can't or refuse to help then it is as good as done.
