I seek your humble opinion. If you only have a choice to own only 1 and ONLY sport rolex watch, which model would you go for and why?

Amongst all the model, like 1680 sub, 1655 explorer or 1665 seadweller or even the 1675 GMT,just to name a few, which model is considered the MOST iconic of Rolex watches.

two different watches for me as you asked two different questions.

most iconic for me would be a rolex day date.

the one rolex watch would be a 16710 gmt 2. very versatile with different inserts and 2 bracelets (jubilee and oyster) + aftermarket straps.

If you are looking at Rolex Sports Watch, then I would think Submariner. It is a diver's watch.

But you list the vintage watches and seems like you wouldn't be doing water sports, then double red will be my choice due to unquieness.

Depending on your type of sporty lifestyle.
If u like sea sports, naturally the submariner. As for me I find the dssd too thick to be under the sleeve.
If u like cars, the Daytona
Others, the Gmt/sub is just great!

For me the most iconic Rolex sports watch is non other than Sub or GMT, regardless of the specific model number. If I can only go for one it will be the batman. Iconic and classic, yet with it's own distinct feature that is easily recognizable at a glance. A combination of classic with a modern touch. A model that represents a new break through for Rolex with the dual color ceramic bezel.

Believe me. Most of the time you will not stop at one. Just buy the piece you want and available(you listed vintage models, they are not freely available. Even they are , price and condition are a factors to consider)

I was looking that something that will appeal to my taste (very subjective) and not too loud since for daily use. Ended up getting the YM blue dial non-gold version from HG. It is a tough decision since they all look good.
