viewed the website and i need some help here!

bought a submariner 116610LN 2 weeks ago from local AD. however, my serial number has only 1 letters and the rest numbers. does it mean that produced in year 2001? i thought this model was only 3-4 years old? my clasp numbered C6H meaning its produced from 2011 to present day.

the clasp does not tally with the serial number? please enlighten me!

Serial number start with K******* while clasp is C6H..

Only reason I can think of is there can be just one letter and all numbers in the new code..

your sub is an AN serial number... so it's the latest series... don't worry bro...

Though there's a reason for Rolex to print the numbers on the back of their boxes, to match with a particular model, some argue that its ok not to get the correct box as the watches and boxes were shipped separately and ADs usually just grab any boxes available in their stores as soon as a purchased was made.

So far, most of my Rolexes have the correct boxes...
