Like I always said, at the end of the day it's the wearer, not the watch that matters.

the funny thing is that when rich ppl wear fakes nobody suspects but when middle class ppl like myself wear genuine rolex, ppl ask me whether it's real or fake... haha.. i just tell these ppl to find out for themselves and stop asking me besides i don't have to prove to others mine's real as long as i know it is.... it's not like we have to carry the papers of the watch along where ever we go to show ppl... or put an aftermarket see through caseback on my sub... lol....

If I really happen to see my friend or colleague wearing a fake watch, I think I will just keep it to myself

If it was a honest question then give honest answer since he is a friend. Depends on your relationship between him ba. I've a friend who know nuts about rolex and asked me whether my 18238 is gen before. Lol. Gave him the honest answer and poisoned him into watches. Lol
Just another small small small small watch user ....

I think people who know you well enough will not ask such a question.

The reason why Rolexes are so popular is also becos they are not awfully expensive.
Most working adult can afford a Rolex. It really is no big deal. Moreoever if new is too expensive, can buy preowned.

Lastly, buying and wearing a Rolex is to fulfil one's own desire.
Can lie to everyone but cannot lie to oneself.
So no point wearing fake, it only makes one feel lousy.

Most of the time, you get the real thing on everyones' wrist. The wearer spoted with the "fake" might just want to stand out from the crowd.

accept that that person has high enough status to wear a fake rolex and knowing no one will question him

Nothing, it's not my business to care. As long as the person is happy with it, there's no reason to judge.
