Man, everyone from insurance agents to property agents to car sales people will also tell you prices will increase soon. AP recently dropped price and then increased them again about a week and a half ago. Rolex hasn't done it yet.

Did come across talk there a recent price increment for Japan market but that only for Japan. It could be the result of prolonged period of weak yen. Other then that still nothing official from Rolex.

heard from the SP at cortina the other day. Prices going up for hk and other countries..but sg price will remain because of the stronger SGD. This is to keep the price uniform.

Probably, since there is a higher demand for the sports models. Anyway really to justify increasing the price of a gold rolex when the price of gold has fallen by 25% year to date is to me ridiculous. Unless of course the way the gold is molded and hammered into the shape of a rolex is something that defies economics. Because its in the shape of a rolex! So that gold is worth more.
