Local market is just peanuts, it will not affect the brand new Rolex price.
Maybe Rolex resale market will be over-stock.
The brand new price and the 2nd resale price gap will be getting bigger.

It is unlikely that there will be no price increase. From past few years, the price has been steadily increasing with at least a 'price-increase exercise' per year. The increase could be in the form of retail price (RRP) increase with usual discount remaining the same, or no change on the RRP and discount decreased. Either way, buyers just pay more and more each year.
With year end soon approaching, it is possible that there may be a round of 'exercise' coming. Normally, this happened during the year-end festive season when people are more willing to spend, and are better able to spend due to year-end bonuses, etc. So a piece of advice for those who are intending to buy their favourite timepieces in the coming months, do it now or risk doing it at a higher price.
