Tudor's target market is different from Rolex - so a Tudor can never be considered a rolex

Agree with many that they are different, targeting different market segment.

When it comes to the sales and after sales experience, no difference.
But once it's on your arm the recognition is night and day.

I do like the Tudors which look different from their Rolex 'counterparts', though. These are a class on their own.

It's different, though Tudor is a Rolex company brand too. I used to own a Tudor Hydronaut II. A very nice time piece. But after a year, I flipped to my current Rolex Submariner two tone. It's a huge different in the recognition. Rolex tend to be more appreciated by people. As very powerful brand, I would say.
            Timepieces that I owned:
            Rolex Submariner 16613LB
            Rolex Datejust 68273
            Panerai 104
Tissot T-Race Nicky Hayden 2013 Limited Edition

              Tudor is..... NOT a Rolex.
              Rolex is a Rolex.
Tudor is manufactured by Rolex's sister company, namely erm... TUDOR.

Major difference is Tudor does not have any Rolex movement.
