If the prices of new and pre-owned Rolexes keep going up, even those who can afford a Rolex may opt for a Tudor! The new ones like Black Bay and Pelagos are attracting alot of interest. With Tudor going back officially into the US market, the marketing spin-off in that huge market will be felt here too! But for now, a Tudor is not a Rolex.

And Swatch owns Omega, does that make a Swatch Omega?

Tudor is not cheap also compare to many other Swiss made watches, I had Rolex and a old prince Tudor with Rolex crown. The newer one however doesn't use Rolex crown anymore which I see it as the brand able to stand on its own.
Are they the same? To me all are the same, they are all watch manufacturer with different history and branding prices that's all.
              My view.

Whether true or not, imho shouldnt talk about how rich or poor people are.
Dont even have to own a watch, this forum about watch appreciation and personal tastes,

These 2 look similar right? Just for info Tudor cost mush less. It is the matter of preference also.

Makes sense. But I suppose the quote was meant as a joke.

Bro, your eg is pretty extreme... Either you look up too much to Chery or you condescend Volvo to a great extent...
In the same light, I think Tudor - Rolex gap is closer than your "Chery - Volvo" analogy.
I stand corrected if you draw a relative comparison Price-wise even though it is between different product types.

Montres Tudor SA has designed, manufactured and marketed Tudor brand watches since March 6, 1946. Rolex founder Hans Wildorf conceived of the Tudor Watch Company to create a product for authorized Rolex dealers to sell that offered the reliability and dependability of a Rolex, but at a lower price.[18]

Tudor brand watches are manufactured by Montres Tudor SA using movements supplied by ETA SA.

Tudor brand watches are marketed and sold in most countries around the world including Australia, Canada, India, Mexico, South Africa, most countries in Europe, South Asia, the Middle East and countries South America, particularly Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela.

I am eyeing the Tudor Pelagos vs the Sub C ND. Price wise the Sub C ND is almost double that of the Pelagos.
The Sub C ND is more classier and has the Rolex badge and in-house movt. Technologically the Pelagos wins hands down with the titanium case, spring loaded clasp and infused ceramic lume bezel. However Pelagos is using a ETA movt.

                                This is a tough choice.
